This past week I performed some maintenance on my book, Worthy, which is the first of two books that form the preamble to my main series in the Legends of Àea. I was very pleased with both the paperback and the hardback book versions, but noticed much later that the QR codes provided in the front and back were broken, due to my getting my own domain at WordPress. Thus, I felt the need to do an update so that future purchases of the book will have the correct QR code linking to the Legends of Àea page on the website. I know this doesn’t help for those who have already purchased a copy of the book, but for all future sales the QR codes will work as intended.

In addition, I was able to find a website that enabled me to make and include a map of Ilianor to go along with the book. That full-size map (and others) are available in color through the Maps page on the website. Hopefully, this, along with the appendix to the book, will help readers to get a much better idea of the locations and characters within the book.

I hope that these updates will be useful and that they will increase the enjoyment readers get out of my work. One more little bit of information, I have started work on the first draft of the one-and-only sequel to Worthy, which is currently titled Glorious. The sequel to Worthy will continue the story of Eldemel, but later in his life:
After becoming king of the Leîn in Ilianor, Eldemel’s rule spreads throughout all of Abynàea through the marriages of his many sons, uniting Men, Leîn, and others under a single unified kingdom . However, trouble is stirring both for Eldemel personally, as well as the world at large. Eldemel’s heartaches and missteps threaten the strength of his empire, with trouble brewing among his sons, and old enemies are watching for any sign of weakness. Meanwhile, the Ash Lord Neyrlor believes himself now ready to take on not only Eldemel’s kingdom, but the Keepers, and the world itself. With the Elves and Valeîn all but extinct, Eldemel’s kingdom is all that stands in his way, but will his kingdom be strong enough to repel the ancient Archdemon? Will his house be strong enough to keep the world united against the Ash Lord?
